What is Hypnosis?
There are many varied definitions of Hypnosis and the "Trance State", basically it is a mental state that is different to the one normally experienced. It is a state where attention is turned inwards and in which conscious awareness of the 'real' world changes. It is in this state, with the conscious awareness distracted, that the deeper levels of the mind can be accessed and motivated to change in a way that seems perfectly natural.
Daydreaming is a form of trance... The body must have these trance states many times daily in order to refocus, normally after a period of physical or mental activity. Remember arriving at work but then you remember not having driven there? These are examples of Hypnotic trance. You are still in control of your mind but somehow time has passed. It is a natural form of relaxing.

What is NLP?

What is Time Line?
Time Line or regression is a treatment based on our understanding of life path, it is just an enhanced version of what we do every time we remember something. It is based on a line connecting you in the now, to the past and future, it is along this line where your history is stored and where you are heading in life.
Time line is fantastic in today’s world as it assists in recovering to enhance or destroy emotions around events that happened in your past that may continue to control your life. This Life Path and positive experiences can also be progressed into the future to implant positive feelings from past events leaving a sense of achievement, confidence and happy feelings along your future line creating anticipation in advance of results or experiences.
This perfectly natural process works much like remembering what you did last weekend, Time Line takes this process one step further by altering the image and changing it’s ‘Internal Representation’ enabling your mind to alter it’s behaviour and the body’s physiology according to the new understanding of that event.
Time Line itself is not a cure… it is a means where by the Hypnotherapist (Stuart) uncovers the event in your past that has contributed to your current behaviour, fear or issue you feel you have.
