So what is Reiki?
Reiki is the Japanese word for universal life force energy. When giving a healing I do not send reiki to you it is drawn from your body in the exact amount needed to bring balance and harmony back to you on the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical levels.
Reiki is not a religion or a belief system therefore no mental preparation is needed to receive a treatment only a desire to receive and accept this beautiful energy. Reiki is a wonderful tool to help one develop conscious awareness, the very key to enlightenment.
We are all alive because we have life force flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body through pathways called chakras, meridians and nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. Life force nourishes our organs, when this Life force is disrupted it causes diminished function in one or more of our organs of the physical body. This life force is also responsive to thoughts and feeling, if we accept negative thoughts or feelings they attach to our energy field and cause a disruption of the flow of life force, further diminishing the vital function of our organs and cells.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected part of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It actually raises the vibratory level of the energy field around the body where the negative energy has attached It self causing it to break away and fall apart. In doing so reiki clears, straighten and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing life force to flow through in a healthy natural way.

About Sally
Sally is very passionate about living life consciously through self awareness, holistic healing, spiritual mentoring, education, helping people achieve their inner most dreams and desires, environmental and animal welfare, photography, writing, music and yoga.
She has read books on natural remedies and self empowerment for 18 years, been working in the alternative health industry for 11 and has practiced as a fully qualified naturopath for the last 5 years.
