WHAT IS MYOTHERAPY?
Myotherapy is assessing and physically treating muscular pain, injury and dysfunction affecting movement. It aims to improve mobility, restore function and reduce pain.
Myotherapy is applied in the preventative, corrective and rehabilitative phases of therapy. It aims to restore and maintain the normal integrity of muscles, tendons and ligaments.

MYOTHERAPIST -
Carissa completed Myotherapy at RMIT in 2002 and is a current member of the Institute of Registered Myotherapists Australia. In the past six years, she has had extensive experience in treating acute and chronic soft tissue pain. She has a special interest in the rehabilitation of muscles, which lead her to a further her studies in Pilates.
