What we Teach
BJJ Basics
Great for Health and Fitness
BJJ training is for the body and mind. Moderate exercise a few times a week is important for maintaining and improving health. BJJ training combines the mental discipline of learning jiu-jitsu (you'll never get bored) together with physical activity at a pace your body is comfortable with.
It combines Anaerobic weight bearing activity (vital for bone density development and maintenance of musculature) together with aerobic activity (for cardio-vascular health) during training. The intensity of practice grows with your BJJ skill base and physical development through training. If you can get up and down off the ground your ready to start BJJ.
Great for Women
Walk without fear! BJJ requires no advantage in strength or speed, so it can be practiced by women and men of all ages and ability. Girls rule!
