ABOUT YOUR THERAPIST
Patricia is an experienced holistic therapist, academic and researcher with a career that spans over 20 years, during which time she has studied and worked on two continents, Europe and Australia, in five different countries: Hungary, England, Scotland, The Netherlands and Australia, and visited many more. Currently Patricia is dividing her time in Adelaide between seeing clients in private practice, teaching linguistics at The University of Adelaide and working on her research.
Patricia is passionate about health and wellbeing, especially women’s health, and her approach towards health issues is a holistic one, including body, soul and spirit. Dedicated to the healing arts, Patricia is constantly developing her skills as a holistic therapist in order to be better able to serve her clients.
The holistic therapies Patricia offers and very often a combination of them can assist you on your personal healing journey. With healthy doses of humour and an insightful, straightforward approach Patricia can guide you through the principles required to resolve problems and reverse issues in your life that no longer serve you.

Reiki
Reiki is an old Japanese healing art. The word, Reiki itself is made of two words in Japanese, Rei and Ki, meaning universal life force energy. The founder and originator of Reiki was Mikao Usui and in honour of him, and based on his teachings, the original lineage and style is called “Traditional Usui Reiki”. Patricia is one of those in the long line of Reiki disciples who can trace back their lineage to Mikao Usui himself. Patricia has been practicing Traditional Usui Reiki for 17 years and her entire journey in the realm of holistic therapies started with Reiki back in the 1990s in Europe. After nine years of practice and a two-year teaching apprenticeship alongside her Reiki Master, Patricia herself became a Reiki Master Teacher in August 2000. Patricia is happy to have been able to bring her knowledge and experience of Traditional Usui Reiki to Australia and to offer Reiki treatments in her practice as well as Traditional Usui Reiki courses to all those, who are interested to become practitioners themselves.
Reiki I and II classes are commencing in 2009.
