Ear Candling Ear Candling is a natural ear healing technique that dates back to the ancient cultures of Egypt, China & the American Indians. Candles are handmade from beeswax & unbleached cotton cloths and are inserted into the ear, drawing excess earwax, toxins and accumulated white flaky fungus from the ears. This is an incredibly relaxing treatment which includes a face & sinus massage. Many people are rediscovering the value of ear candling to cleanse the ear canal & sinus passages.

Clinic Etiquette
Arrival time: We encourage you to arrive 10 mins before your scheduled treatment time to complete your consultation form. Please advise us if you are pregnant or of any other major health considerations, as some treatments may not be suitable for you.
Gift vouchers: Are available for purchase from Bax & Bodz and come in a presentation envelope ready to use as a gift for friends, family or colleagues. Vouchers may be purchased over the phone & posted to you or the recipient
Loyalty Program: For every friend or colleague that book a (minimum 1 hour) treatment at Bax & Bodz as a result of your referral, you will be sent a $10 voucher to use toward your next treatment.
Mobile phones: Please ensure your phones are off or on silent during treatments.
Cancellation policy: Please allow at least 12 hours notice of cancellation so others may benefit from this appointment time.
Late arrivals: Arriving late will limit the time for your treatment. As a courtesy to all clients, treatments will begin and end on time
What to wear: Casual clothing is best. Jewellery and valuables are best left secured at home. Disposable underwear is available and your privacy will be maintained at all times.

I am a 51 year old male, with a solid muscle mass & strong upper body strength. After injuring my lower back in a work accident, I sought relief & treatment through Chiropractic and Physiotherapy. Whilst beneficial, these just didn’t seem to fully address the discomfort. Coupled with this, I injured my right shoulder and neck in martial arts sparing. I have been coming to Sue for over a year and half now. I absolutely love the variety of options and services that can accommodate how I’m getting along at the present time. I find Sue to be so warm and very comfortable to be around. I can talk to her about anything and we have gotten to know one another very well. She has the perfect temperament for her many services as she is very soft spoken and calming. When you walk through that door, you know you are in for the most relaxing, enjoyable experience that you will ever have in your life. When I’m stressed, I love getting the remedial massage to smooth out the tension spots on my back, shoulders and neck. She uses warm towels on the tension spots and it relaxes your whole body so you can enjoy the rest of your massage. I have on many occasions fallen asleep and snored my head off.
Approx every 3 months I like to add an ear candling onto my remedial massage to clear out any blockages that occur. Sue starts off with doing a face and head massage to loosen up the wax and to get you relaxed for the job ahead. You hear crackling and popping in your ear but you are so relaxed that you don’t even notice it. Once she has finished with the ear candling, Sue shows you what has come out of your ears so you can tell first hand why it is that you can’t hear. I love it! You don’t realize how muffled people are and how loud you talk until you have this done. You will be amazed!
I usually get the spray tan in the summer so that I don’t have to sit in the sun and bake to death. You have a variety of colors to choose from depending on how dark you want to go. I usually combine this with a massage and body scrub beforehand so the spray tan looks very natural. The best part is that there are no harsh chemicals in the product so you know what is going on your skin. I then buy the tanning lotion to prolong the effect of the spray tan which just gives you that long lasting golden glow. When I get this combination, I always feel like a million bucks and my husband can’t keep his hands off me. This is a must have for total luxury when you have somewhere to go or just want to give yourself a pick me up. Total bliss!
I buy many organic products for myself and my husband. We enjoy knowing we are not clogging our pores with unnecessary chemicals that can potentially cause more harm than good. Firstly, I use the Mukti cleansing lotion in the shower or every second day I give my face a great scrub with Mukti gentle facial exfoliant to clean out the pores, then Mukti Hydrating Floral Blend to cool and uplift my skin (it’s also great because you don’t use very much moisturizer so it lasts twice the amount than if you didn’t use it), then Mukti Aloe Vera Moisturizer and in the evening Mukti Re-Hydrating facial oil in the never ending wrinkles to smooth them out and hydrate them. I have got my lovely husband onto these products as he is a panel beater and his face gets so dirty that he needs to give it a very good clean and moisturize as he deals with chemicals and dust everyday. He uses the Mukti cleansing lotion and Mukti gentle facial exfoliate in the shower and moisturizes with the Mukti Aloe Vera moisturizer. When he needs to have a shave he uses Mukti Shaving Gel. He finds that it doesn’t dry out his face and he never gets razor rash as it glides over his face and head (he is bald) with ease. His face turns out nice and soft with no nicks or cuts. We both love the smells of each of the products as they have different essential oils which are very calming and refreshing. You just know that your skin loves you!
The best treatment I saved to last. The green mud mask for your body is to die for. I sometimes have a body scrub then I get the green body mask that leeches the toxins out of your body. Sue wraps your whole body up in warm towels like a mummy then leaves you to relax and enjoy the warmth. This is amazing. Never in your life will you feel more relaxed, cleaned out of toxins and just naturally beautiful. You then have a shower with the many organic products and when you come back I get a massage to top everything off. Do you know what total relaxation feels like? If you don’t then you need to have this!
Nowadays, everyone is so stressed and on the go that taking the time out to stop and refresh yourself is a must. Starting off with a massage or buying one of the many products that Sue has can start making you feel better about yourself. It is important to you, friends and family.
