Comments from women attending pregnancy yoga class...
"Cathy's pregnancy yoga class has been invaluable to me during my pregnancy. Her extensive knowledge and passion for pregannacy, birthing and babies has greatly assisted me on comfortable positions during pregnanacy and labour, communicating with my baby, relaxation techniques and relieving some adverse symptoms of pregnancy. I highly recommend Cathy's pregnancy yoga class to every pregnant woman. T.Kerr. East Ringwood.
"Thankyou so much for all of your assistance and support during my pregnancy. The weekly anten-natal yoga was so helpful. I really enjoyed being with other expecting mum's but most of all I can't believe how much the yoga practice you taught me helped me with my birth preparation. I had the most beautiful birth and I put this down to the stamina and positions that I learnt about through your classes."

HypnoChildbirth....Pregnancy Relaxation and Gentle Birth Preparation
Learn......
*Deep relaxation and self hypnosis techniques to achieve a comfortable, shorter labour and birth. These tools of relaxation can be used throughout the rest of your life.
*How to deeply connect and bond with your growing baby
*How you and your birthing team can create a birthing environment that is calm, serene and joyful (rather than tense and stressful)
*Gentle birthing techniques that allow you to breathe your baby into the world
*How to use your natural birthing instincts to birth your baby in a way your body was designed to. It is only fear that prevents this.....the 'what ifs'
HypnoChildbirth is an effective tool for birth preparation, and knowledge of the birth process. This method leads to comfortable, safe birthing practices. It allows the mother to by-pass the 'fight-or-flight' process when labour begins, so her body works effectively and efficiently. Women experience total muscle relaxation, reducing uterine discomfort (pain).
HypnoChildbirth uses well organized language, and the right amount of practice, so you can reach that 'special birthing place' that all women need to find, in order to birth their babies without trama or fear.
HypnoChildbirth is a method developed by Doula and Childbirth Educator Denise Love. Denise has supported many women through birth for over 30 years. She has watched women's development in the Western world, Indigenous women of Australia and now works in Thailand.
How to create the birth you want for your baby....
Personal sessions identify your needs, wants and expectations around birth.
3 sessions will begin your preparation for HypnoChildbirth and with suggested outline, you can achieve total relaxation to welcome your baby. 6 sessions is ideal.
1 session for planning pregnancy.
Cost per session is $85 - includes cds and scripts.
You can start sessions at anytime during pregnancy. Starting at the beginning of second trimester allows deeper relaxation and wellbeing during pregnancy.
