HOMOEOPATHY is a scientific method of healing that gently assists your own body’s healing powers. It takes into consideration the details of the entire person – the mind, the body, and the stresses they face. Homoeopathy has been used successfully now for two centuries for a natural return to health. People vary in their response to an illness, according to their disposition. Homoeopathic medicine is prescribed for the individual person, not for the disease. A wide scope of problems can be helped, ranging from severe incurable conditions needing palliation, to simple allergies, recurrent headaches and symptoms of the common cold and flu. Some of the benefits of Homoeopathy include: no harmful side-effects, no drug interactions or risk of overdose.
What can I expect during a consultation?
The first consultation is usually an hour long. We need to know all about you. The Adult or Children’s Health History Guideline is given before the initial consultation for you to note down information about yourself. A comprehensive profile will be made of all your symptoms and other details, including sleep patterns and dreams, lifestyle, emotional aspects, medical reports and physical examination. A complete treatment program will be worked out with you. Before we can commence treatment you can clarify exactly what outcomes can be expected from it and the time involved. Once we finish the consultation the profile will be matched with a profile of symptoms for a Homoeopathic medicine, and it may be picked up from the clinic or will be posted out to you.

How do I take the remedy?
The medicine is usually taken on a clean tongue at least fifteen minutes before or after food or drink. Avoid taking the medicine immediately after such substances as tobacco, coffee, raw garlic, raw onions, or toothpaste.
How many consultations will be needed?
Acute symptoms may be resolved in one to two sessions. Genuine corrective care may involve more extensive lifestyle management. Optimal wellness will involve dedicated & regular consultations such as eight weekly to quarterly intervals, in order to enhance all areas of health.
Can Homoeopathic medicines be taken with conventional medicines?
Usually Homoeopathic medicines may be taken in conjunction with conventional medicines without any adverse effects. Do inform of your current ongoing medications, dental treatments, addictions etc… during the consultation.
Homoeopaths are bound by a Code of Professional Conduct.

BOWEN THERAPY is a dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy that offers substantial relief to people with specific injuries, and other health problems. The therapist delivers signals to the nervous system at specific locations (muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves), and the body then gently rebalances over the next three days. Deep relaxation during the session is quite common as this is an indication of a release from stress.
Each person responds differently to a Bowen Session. Every body responds according to their own body's ability to heal.
The Bowen Technique is so gentle that it can be used to treat babies through to the elderly. Bowtech addresses the entire body holistically.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS
I graduated as a Homoeopath from CSIT Nambour in 2001 with an Advanced Diploma in Health Science. I am registered with the Australian Register of Homoeopaths (AROH) and a professional member of the Australian Association of Professional Homoeopaths (AAPH).
I am a Bowtech trained Bowen Therapist and have been practising since 2004. In 2007 I completed a Diploma in Bowen Therapy to align my qualifications with the newly Nationally Recognised Training for Bowen Therapy. I am a Full Member of the Bowen Association of Australia (BAA) and Bowen Therapy Training Association (BTTA).
