"As a director of the company and the key practitioner, I come from a long line of Celtic healers. I can trace my ancestry back to 16th century Ireland, where the men of my clan were warriors and decorated soldiers, and the woman were known as healers, truthsayers, gypsies and bards. The woman of my family were well known in their villages for their second sight and for always telling the truth or being able to see the truth whilst others could not.
Whilst I think these skills have mellowed somewhat with the passing generations, many of my clients comment on how I appear to get to the truth of the matter very quickly and that I have a "no-nonsense" practicality about me. I like to think that this is a skill I was born with, that this gift was passed to me from my ancestors, and that it will help me to find the true source of your illness and help you to deal with it."
3 years ago I had a bad fall of a horse, I crushed my T7 vertebrae and broke 4 others. I was lucky to walk away from the accident. What I discovered on my long journey back to full strength was that there was an alternative pain management option to prescription drugs.
I was determined not to be dependant on painkillers all of my life and within 8 months I was completely drug free thanks to a combination of diet, exercise and energy healing.
Whilst on my journey to recovery I discovered the wonderful and powerful healing that crystal resonance and vibrational energies can provide and since then I haven’t looked back.

About the Nakoda Healing Centre:
The word "Nakoda" means "peaceful place" or "place of peace" in the language of the traditional people of North America, the Stoney Nation. I chose this name as I lived amongst the people of the Stoney Nation, for 9 months in my younger years. Their tribal lands are nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains just outside of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. These people had such a quiet way about them, their enduring homelands were so silent and peaceful, their belief systems so in tune with nature, that the whole essence of the word Nakoda resounds in my ears and reminds me that we should all strive to live in harmony with nature, and to find our own "place of peace" in our lives.
In tune with this basic philosophy I decided to start up the Nakoda Healing Centre, as a way to help others to find their place of peace in their lives, their way to live in harmony with the forces around them, to help them find their way to heal themselves.
As such the Nakoda Healing Centre is based in Jimboomba 25 minutes north of Beaudesert and 45 minutes south of the Logan City town centre.
Nestled on 2.5 acres of old farm land, the healing centre backs onto a conservation reserve, where wallabies, kangaroo's and birdlife abound. Where nature lies dormant during the dry season, but springs to life with abundance once the rains come and fill the wetlands which are polka dotted across the reserve.
Here you can relax in this bushland setting, on the wide veranda of this federation style home and enjoy the tranquillity of the Australian bushland.

These therapies utilise the skills of the ancient ones from many cultures. Literature and archeological reports from North America, Australia, England and Ireland, Japan, India and Egypt are littered with references to colour and light therapy, to hands on healing and to the powerful resonance of stones, sacred geologies and how the human body absorbs these energies.
Energy therapy whether it be in the form of Reiki, Pranic or Colour therapy has been used by many nations over several millennia to heal and nurture the sick, wounded or infirm. These modalities rely on the Sanskrit belief that each living being has an energy field which resonates with a universal life force. We know that humans rely on the primary production of plants for all life on earth, this is because plants have the ability to transform sunlight into energy and hence create growth. So too the human body can transform light into energy and transmit it throughout the human body by way of meridians and nadi’s. Many people have experienced the phenomena of the human energy body, when stepping into or out of a car and receiving “an electric shock”. This is often a powerful reminder that our bodies carry an unseen force surrounding them all the time. These energy healing modalities rely on that energy body, to improve and enhance the way you absorb, transmute and transmit energy throughout your body. By clearing and improving the flow of this energy, we are able to improve healing processes, and increase the bodies own ability to recover from injury.
Your First Consultation:
Upon your initial visit we would sit down and discuss your medical history, lifestyle and influencing factors (work/home life etc). No two consultations are the same. At this point you are given the choice of which modality you would like to progress with (or if you would like a combination of all of them).
A colour reading is then undertaken to identify what light source is lacking in your life. The client then lies (fully clothed) on a massage table whilst the practitioner scans the chakras and aura’s to assess where the blockages and congestion to your body’s energy flow is. A guided meditation is then performed and either swathes of colour, crystals, or the use of reiki or pranic energy techniques (or a combination of all of them) are then used to clear and heal the congestion or depleted energy fields. After the treatment, there is then some discussion about what was experienced during the healing and some recommendations are made to improve your health, through diet, exercise, and meditative practice.
The first consultation usually takes at least 2 hours and costs $110.
Your follow up consultation:
There is no pre-set amount of consultations required, however a series of 4 visits is not uncommon, particularly for persistent and chronic symptoms. Follow up visits usually only take 1 hour and consist of focussed treatment of problems areas, and progressive adjustment of recommendations over time. Each Follow up visit costs $65.00/hour. A number of advanced crystal layouts are available to choose from, these may include energy boosters, fertility improvers, study or concentration enhancement or relaxation or past life regression therapy to name a few.
Warning: Anyone who is undergoing Chemotherapy, taking “recreational drugs” or who is pregnant please do not consider using vibrational therapy as this may have an adverse effect on your health.

During a consultation, I will use a number of tools and products which you could use in your own home to promote your own healing. Many of these products are available for purchase as a discount rate to clients. An example of the types of products I stock include: herbal teas, smudge sticks, protection and clearing incense and resins, crystal balls, generators, wands, chargers and boosters.
