Being exposed to Chinese Medicine from a very young age, choosing to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) was a natural progression for Chris Tang. He graduated from the Australian College of Natural Medicine with a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and has spent time in Nanning, China, doing intensive workshops at Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine. He participates in seminars goes back to China on a regular basis to constantly update his knowledge refine various techniques. After completing his studies, Chris began studying under the wing of his highly successful mentor with nearly 40 years experience.
Chris is currently nearing completion with his Masters of Applied Science in Chinese Herbal Medicine at RMIT. He tutors both junior and senior students of TCM at ACNM and is very passionate with his work.
Chris loves helping his patients to achieve optimum health, fertility and relief of pain. Continually seeing great outcomes from treating others is rewarding for Chris.
Chris’ strengths are in treating musculoskeletal disorders and he has a special interest in gynecological disorders, fertility, pregnancy and post-natal treatments, including labor preparation and induction.
His treatments include Acupuncture, herbs (patent and granulated), cupping, massage, gua sha and acupressure.
