Melanie moved to Tasmania in January 2007, where she has been practicing as a naturopath in busy clinics and pharmacies. Melanie is also a full member of Australia’s Complementary Medicine Association. She is very excited to continue her eclectic individualised treatments, using all aspects of Naturopathic Medicine. Her services can also be used in conjunction with conventional medicine. Melanie is registered with most private health providers.
QUALIFICATION DETAILS
Melanie Jacobson, a Canadian trained Naturopath, graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. She continued her studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto where she completed the 4 year full time program to become a Naturopath. Her training included modalities such as Nutrition and Supplementation, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, and Hydrotherapy.
Melanie began working as a Naturopath in a busy naturopathic and massage therapy clinic in Toronto, Canada. She furthered her international experience as a guest lecturer and supervisor in the naturopathic program at the University of Westminster in London. Melanie also worked in the fast-paced virology lab at London’s renowned King’s College Hospital.
