SERVICES
About Me
Joan Fisher.
A qualified remedial and Bowen therapist, I have been treating clients since 1993.
I help to facilitate client recovery by using different forms of remedial therapy such as trigger point, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching and various soft to deep tissue techniques to treat a range of conditions. PNF stretching is suitable for rehabilitation and is particularly effective in enhancing sports performance and recovery from injury. As a Bowen therapist I am able to address not only the musculoskeletal framework, but also the fascia, nerves and internal organs; this form of treatment can make subtle energy changes. My clients report that after a massage their sleep patterns improve and that there is also a marked reduction in pain and stiffness in the musculoskeletal system. I keep up to date on the latest techniques and research.
My clinic offers a relaxed private environment. All appointments can be made either by mobile,SMS or email or simply by leaving a message on my clinic answering machine. I will contact you as soon as I am able.
Clinic hours:-
| Monday to Friday: | 8.00am to 6.30pm |
| Saturday: | 9.00am to 4.00pm |
I make home visits for those who are unable to come to my clinic or who want the privacy and convenience of being treated in their own home.
I also offer gift vouchers and will do insurance work, provided it is approved by the insurance company.
