SERVICES Naturopathy at Fertile Ground
As a naturopath working from Fertile Ground Health Group I provide a holistic approach to health care specialising in pre-conception care, infertility, IVF support, health in pregnancy, birth preparation, post-natal and baby health. I also specialise in stress conditions, menopause and general women's health.
Naturopathy
Diet, lifestyle, herbs, and nutrition are used to individually tailor a treatment protocol to improve your health.
In the initial naturopathic consultation you will be asked questions about your health history. Iridology, hair mineral analysis, zinc testing and other health checks may be used.
Naturopathic therapies gently encourage your body's own healing powers to stimulate the body to redress any imbalances and to help you return to a state of feeling well and to address any specific health problems you may be be experiencing.
I work closely with other medical and health practitioners and referrals for tests may be recommended.
Meditation
Over the years in clinical practice I have seen that many health issues have a stress component and so I have recently completed a meditation teacher training with the widely respected Ian Gawler Foundation.
Meditation has emerged as one of the most powerful self-help tools for sustaining and regaining good health. Meditation has been shown to be a gentle yet powerful tool to help reduce anxiety and depression and manage stress, as well as improve concentration and performance, enhance immunity and general health. Regular meditation practice facilitates inner contentment, joy and clarity.

About your practitioner
I lived and worked in London for a number of years as a public relations and marketing consultant. I found that diet, nutrition and lifestyle changes improved my ability to cope with the stressful lifestyle I lived in London. I felt inspired to return to study and gained a bachelor of science degree in Naturopathy. I have since gone on to study Natural Fertility Management with Francesca Naish and continue my professional development by attending medical, nutritional and herbal seminars to keep up to date with the latest research available.
Consultation fees
Initial consultations are an hour and cost $90, repeat consultations are half an hour and cost $60. Private Health rebates may apply. Concession rates are available for students and health care card holders.
Clinic location
Fertile Ground Health Group is located at 372-376 Albert Street in East Melbourne overlooking the north side of Fitzroy Gardens.
