My introduction to yoga was in 1975 at the Gita School of Yoga where I attended classes as a student of hatha yoga and philosophy, then later undertook the teacher training course with Margrit Segesman. I was an administrator and teacher at the school until 1985 when I began teaching independently in Brighton where my classes are currently held.
In recent years I have been inspired by the teachings and philosofies of Paramahansa Yogananda and TKV Desikachar.
I believe in the long term benefits of a yoga practice, yoga relaxation and the integration of yoga philosophy into ones daily life.
My teaching incorporates Asana practice, pranayama, relaxation, chanting, meditation and philosophy.
