Welcome to dk* yoga centre
The dk yoga centre specialises in breath based Hatha Yoga, a combination of classical Hatha Yoga blending teachings from T.K.V. Desikachar as taught by his father Krishnamacharya (India), The International Sivananda Vedanta Centre (Canada)., and the I.Y.T.A. (Australia). We also offer meditation practices, counselling and holistic treatments. The yoga studio and adjoining garden is set in a peaceful and serene environment. The classes are small and individualised. Students are taught according to their capabilities and needs.
Small group classes and corporate classes are available.
One on one tuition (yoga therapy) - these are private sessions to create a personalised home practice.

Yoga has been taught for over 3000 years and is one of the oldest and most comprehensive healing tools available. It covers lifestyle, yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, Ayurvedic, principles, relaxation techniques and philosophy, accessible to every one of all ages.

Soul Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy
Soul centred counselling & psychotherapy uses a variety of modalities including:- breath work
- relaxation
- mindfulness practices
- therapeutic trance or hypnosis
- tapping the meridians of the body (a system using the Chinese acupuncture meridians;
- excellent for both adults and children
- working with the chakra system
- bi-lateral stimulation processing
- working with dreams
- personal mythology
- therapeutic ritual
I work with issues such as:- grief, loss or disappointment
- reducing stress and anxiety
- relationship issues
- work issues
- general wellbeing
My work explores a healthy approach to living through meaning connection, clarity, mindfulness, and honouring the mind body system.
It is about learning to be in relationship with the world around you, with friends, family, intimate life partner, and yourself.
I especially work with you to restore balance to the mindbody system, through the physical aspects of Yoga practice, and through Soul Centred psychotherapy.
These specialised 90min sessions may also be combined with yoga therapy to create a unique experience bringing balance to the whole mind body system.
It is important that you are are able to trust the journey that unfolds for you.
