About
Trina Steer Military Rd, Clinic has been established in Mosman since 1996. Our extensive client base has been built over many years from loyal clients, local business' and health practitioners in the area who have sent many refferals to our clinic.
Professional Background
Trina Steer has been a qualified therapist since 1993, after completing 3 body work diplomas, worked at Nature Care College as the Clinic manager. Gaining experience in many varied aspects of the massage and natural therapy industry started her own business in Mosman (1996) Trina Steer & Assoc. Prior to training in the natural therapy industry Trina worked five years at the Mc Auley Health Centre Medical practice in Auckland NZ where she trained 3 years as a counsellor,then moved to the Immigration Centre Auckland, teaching orientation to Asian Refugees (1980). Most of Trina's professional working life has been working with people within the Allied Health Professions.
Type of Massage Treatments
Concentrating in all aspects of massage in relation to muscular and ligamentous pain, mind/body connection, involving restricted mobility, over use problems (RSI) muscle spasm caused by stress. Work related computer problems involving restrictive movement. Massage treatments that focus on chronic anxierty and tension, resulting in sleep deprivation and irritability.
How to find us
We are at 884 Military Rd, Mosman directly opposite Avenue Rd, between the chicken shop and chemist. There is a 2 hour free parking directly behind us. To get there (going down Military Rd, towards the zoo) turn left at Raglan St lights then left into car park. Walk up the stairs through Mosman arcade ,turn left and we are three doors down , you will find us up the stairs!

Clinical Massage
Clinical massage is massage that targets specific pain sites. Pin pointing the exact location and area to massage is only part of the treatment. Knowing the type of technique, combined with gentle stretching can help release those taut bands that cause pain in the muscle fibres. Being a 'muscle detective' also helps locate any referred muscular pain, that needs to be treated in the same session. Massage therapy is often a relief not always a cure.

Due to our professional responsibility and the limitations of massage our clients can feel assured that any medical sign or condition of concern we will refer immediately back to your health care practitioner. As massage therapists we do not diagnose.
