SERVICES
Musculoskeletal/Remedial massage Treatments – A postural and gait (manner of walking and moving) assessment may take place and each treatment is designed for the needs of the client on the day to correct postural imbalances and abnormal muscular contractions and functional patterns, which may also be causing pain and tension, poor posture, irregular gait and mechanical movement. Therapy may include massage, as well as active/passive muscle energy techniques (MET), stretches, trigger point release, myofascial release and prescription of specific exercises to correct muscular responses. Diploma of Remedial Massage 1996, Bachelor Health Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy 2006.
Aromatherapy treatments and products - each treatment and Aromatherapy Essential oil blend used and prescribe for home treatment is customised to the individual client. This is then reviewed and changed from treatment to treatment to suit the current condition, both physical and/or psychological.
Reflexology Treatments - Reflexology balances the energy flow through the different body zones, creating feeling of wellness, reducing fatigue and increasing energy and inducing better relaxation and deeper sleep. It also promotes better healing of self. These treatments are mostly performed on the feet, but also on the hands and sometimes on the ears.
Swedish Massage Treatments - these treatments are made up of relaxation massage movements. This modality is appropriate for everyone that needs better health through relaxation maintenance.
Colour Therapy used with all of the above treatments-Visualization of specific colours throughout the massage helps to release tension and decrease pain.See workshop information below.
Colour Balancing using a Chromopuncture tool using light infused into the Endocrine reflexes on the foot. Induces Deep relaxation whilst balancing energies. This is more effective when received after a relaxation treatment .See workshop information below.
Bach Remedies - Target emotions and feelings, very quick in action, changes felt within a week, but very subtle. Following a consultation, Remedies are made up for each individual's needs and directions given for their uses. Each remedy lasts 2 weeks and needs require reviewing by then as changes take place.

Details of Colour Therapy Workshops
An introductory workshop that explores the perceived therapeutic qualities and uses of colour.
In this workshop you will find the answers to the following :
What is colour?
How colour relates to the human body.
What are Chakras?
How do Chakras affect well being, physically and emotionally?
How does this relationship affect balance in health and well being?
How we can use colour to re-establish balance in ourselves (what we wear, eat, look at, decorate with, drink, breathe?
If you are a therapist: How can you integrate this knowledge into the treatments that you already offer your clients? e.g.: Remedial massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy...meditation
The aim of this workshop is to establish the above concepts in the first half and to spend the rest of the time in a practical 'hands on' session, using tools of the trade, for example the "Colour Puncture Light Kit" to ensure each participant takes away immediate skills to use on themselves and/or others.
