This means that I can provide continuous physical, emotional and informational support before, during and just after childbirth.
I can support you in labour at home, in the birth centre or labour ward by encouraging you with breathing techniques and different positions, negotiating with medical staff to fulfill the wishes for your birth plan, as well as attending to your other needs such as setting up your room, and making sure you are well nourished and hydrated.
This makes for a better birth experience with less stress, and allows your partner more time to support you!
