On-line Counselling follows very similar principles to face-to-face Counselling, only the sessions happen through email exchange and thus are accessible for you from the comfort of our own home.
Sometimes when you feel the need to speak with someone, especially if you have never done it before, online counselling feels less frightening, somehow safer.
You may also feel more comfortable with writing, when you can take all the time you need and access the content of your previous sessions. Some people find that they process information better this way.
It is a method which may also be particularly helpful if you are unable to leave your home or live in a remote area, where you cannot find anyone who offers the type of support you are seeking.
Online counselling can be an effective way to receive support and guidance to work through something troubling you now and/or put in place a longer term plan helping you to take care, recharge and nourish your own soul, energy and life.
In contrast to other on-line counselling services, fees are designed in such a way that you do not pay more than you would for a face-to-face session, actually less because you save the transport costs and the time to travel. For this consultation, we usually meet twice. The first session lasts approximately 2 hours and is the Form assessment. The second session takes 1 hour: it completes the Form consultation (with a Compass assessment), allows an evaluation of the changes you have already made and gives space for any further questions you may have.
