A philosophy for your health

Not only does the Meridian system connect all parts of the body, but it also coordinates and regulates the functional activities of them including all organs, muscles and bones. If the flow of qi and blood in the meridians system are blocked or qi and blood become inadequate, the body fails to maintain normal function and coordination, finally disease or illness follow. Acupuncture

What is acupuncture treatment?

Acupuncture has been used for several thousands of years and was developed in China and Asia as a traditional therapeutic method. It spread to Korea and Japan in about the 6th century and spread to Europe in the 17th century. It is still very popular throughout the whole word.
Acupuncture treatment is based on the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which has an extremely long history. Meridians and acupoints are the essential parts of TCM which espouses the belief that the human body contains an invisible network including meridians, collaterals and acupoints. The qi (vital energy) and blood flows through the body meridians system fluently in a health body. When the flow of qi in the meridians becomes blocked or is inadequate, the body fails to keep harmony and balance its physiological activities, consequently body disorders and illness occur after a period of time. The insufficient flow of qi and blood can be caused by environmental factors, poor diet, disease pathogens, emotional stress, overwork and lifestyle. Acupuncture treatment, usually combined with moxibustion, can clear the blockages of qi and blood circulation and drive cold energies out of the body.
Acupuncture treatment is completed by the insertion of fine, sterile needles (for single use) into acupoints along the body’s meridians relative to the illness after skin cleansing treatment with 70% v/v isopropyl alcohol swab. Acupuncture usually is carried out with moxibustion, cupping, electro-stimulating and remedial massage treatment together.
