Meet the manager of evolutions
Edward John Fearn: a member of ATMS, is both the manager as well as a therapist at Evolutions .
He is one of Australias most respected remedial massage therapists with many years experience in this field.
Edward has also studied 'Hawaiian lomi lomi' both in Australia and Hawaii with great lomi (traditional massage) Masters such as; Kai Po Kaneakua, Papa K Kepilino, and Auntie Mary Fragas. He has also studied Hawaiian Bodywork with "Ho'okahi Ho'ulu (wife of the late Kahuna "Kahu Abraham Kawai'i" ).
Edward skillfully combines both lomi lomi and heated stone therapy in his massage treatments. Also he is covered for all major health funds both as a massage therapist and naturopath.

Massage Styles
Hawaiian Bodywork (Iwa Iwa Style)
Developed by the late Kahu Abraham Kawai'i. A Kahuna from island of Kaui (originally from the Big Island). Its movements are based on the graceful flight patterns of the Hawaiian iwa iwa bird.This style of healing can nourish, nurture and energise your mind, body and soul. Using vibrant music with the rythmic nature of this flowing style can help to remove both physical and emotional blockages.
Although originally known as Hawaiian Bodywork, some later teachers began calling this style Kahuna Bodywork. In order to control the misuse of this name, Kahu Abraham gave approval for his top students to trademark and to use this title respectfully. Even this use however, is considered culturaly disrespectful by some Kupuna (Revered elders) so as a sign of respect to these elders, our therapists no longer use this title.
O' Hana/ Lomi Lomi (Our Family/ Massage)
'O'Hana lomi lomi' was originally taught to me by the 'Great Kupuna'; 'Kaipo Kaneakua' (Kahuna la'au lapa'au mahi'ai). It is a style of lomi lomi that has been passed down through many generations of powerful healers in Kaipo's family. I have also combined teaching's from two other 'Great Kupuna' 'Papa K Kepilino' (master of the breath of Ha), and 'Aunty Mary Fragas' two of Hawaii's greatest lomi masters.
This lomi lomi is more than just a massage, it is actually considered to be a form of pule (spiritual prayer) put into action and was designed to build mana (spiritual energy/ physical vitality) in the body. It is important to be aware that changes can often manifest long after the initial treatment has ended as O'hana lomi lomi is just as much about an open heart as it is about healing the physical self. It is a balanced healing of the mind, body and the spirit. Heated stones are often used during this massage and when needed herbal poultices or body wraps.
Heated Stone Massage
The use of warm, lightly oiled stones massaged into the body with a rhythmic and flowing motion is one of the most relaxing forms of massage available. The pressure can vary from firm to light and many people comment that this pleasant sensation feels a little bit like being massaged by very warm hands. We use smooth form of basalt which being volcanic in origin holds the heat for a quite a long period of time. A massage not to be missed.
Pregnancy Massage
We use a specially designed massage table for this wonderfully healing and nurturing massage experience. A great pampering for this very important time in your life.
Remedial Massage
Treating specific problem areas, such as the neck, lower back and legs. This massage is adjusted to your needs by using a combination of bodywork and deep tissue techniques.
Deep Tissue
Using a variety of strong massage techniques to move firmly into tight, stiff muscles to release built up tension and to improve both healing and mobility in these areas.

Reflexology:M Promoting healing of the whole body by massaging pressure points on the hands and feet. Who doesn't love a good foot massage?
Aromatherapy Massage: Using sented healing oils in this luxurious massage to either fully rejuvenate or totally relax your entire body. A pampering delight.
Lymphatic Drainage: Helps to detoxify the entire body. Slow massage is used along the inner lymphatic channels. Useful in treating a wide range of conditions such as glandular swelling, oedema, mastitis and general sluggishness.
