SERVICES As a client the first appointment is an assessment where we discuss your medical history, check movement patterning, and decide which modality would best serve you (sometimes it is a combination). After each appointment you are given a home program to complete so that you are not solely relying on me but are using me as a guide. Some people need very few sessions (1-3), others need more.
Feldenkrais: Dr Feldenkrais, (PhD) a physicist, biologist and judo master, developed his method based in the understanding of the conditions the brain needs in order to learn. Dr Feldenkrais chose movement as the main way to communicate with the brain.
Pilates: Joseph Pilates designed a method that works on the deep architectural structure of the body by targeting the key postural muscles, working from the inside out.
Both methods are suitable for rehabilitation or conditioning.
