QXCI/SCIO Biofeedback Therapy
Is a gentle, non-invasive, computer-based therapy that uses homeopathic frequencies for an energetic assesment and treatment all in one, offering comprehensive healing with a holistic approach to natural therapy. The QXCI/SCIO sends a like frequency into the body, which clears the blockages, and enables your body’s natural healing process to work more effectively. Whether you require re-energizing, allergy desensitising, an energetic correction of vertebral or organ imbalances, have headaches or back pain, viral infections, or anything else in between, Biofeedback Therapy can work for you. Biofeedback Therapy is safe and works well for children, adults and pets.
Ear Candling
Is a gentle, non-invasive therapy, used primarily for cleaning the ears and to promote a healthy atmosphere in the ear, sinus and throat. There can be several other benefits. The process can regulate pressure (eg: from flying), and assist with nasal drip, sinusitis, migraines, some forms of hearing loss, relieving tinnitus, vertigo, swimmers ear, and much more.
Breathwork
Is a safe simple breathing technique, with the breath being guided by the Therapist. By using smooth connected breaths, energy is built up and taken into the body where it dissolves and releases blockages and tension promoting deep levels of relaxation and peace. Breathwork is based on the philosophy that 'thought is creative' and that once you have identified the unconscious beliefs and patterns that are present in your life, different choices become available to you. (Breathwork may also be referred to as Rebirthing)
Kinesiology
Is a form of muscle testing used to assess and correct imbalances in the body, whether they are physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. With Kinesiology there is a connection between the physical, such as the muscles, bones, hormones, neurology, etc and the energetic, such as the aura, chakras, meridians, etc. Using muscle testing we assess the stress levels in the physical and energetic bodies and work with the most appropriate technique to correct the imbalance, strengthening the bodies natural healing process. Kinesiology is non-invasive; you can keep all your issues in your head, thereby respecting your need for privacy.
The therapy of Kinesiology originated in the US in the 1960s, as a combination of Eastern and Western techniques, with its eastern roots actually extending back thousands of years.
Reiki
Is an ancient Japanese healing art form. It is a powerful yet gentle form of 'hands-on' healing and is based on the idea that an unseen 'life force energy' flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If our 'life force energy' is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki therefore accelerates the body's innate ability to heal itself on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Reiki is beneficial for the easing of tension and anxiety, relieving pain, and raising the overall level of energy and wellbeing. Reiki can create feelings of personal peace, understanding, serenity and love.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means 'God's Wisdom or the Higher Power' and Ki which is 'Life Force Energy'. So Reiki is actually 'spiritually guided life force energy'.
Flower Essence Therapy
(Like homeopathy) Flower Essence Therapy works on an energetic level to restore the equilibrium of the body, mind, and spirit. The particular specialty of flower essences is the realm of emotions and attitudes, which exert a powerful influence on health and ill health. As Edward Bach, an English physician and homeopath and the father of flower essence therapy, stated it, 'Behind all disease lie our fears, our anxieties, our greed, our likes and dislikes'. By addressing underlying psycho-spiritual issues and promoting energetic shifts in the mind and emotions, flower essences promote a return to health on all levels.
Conscious Living & Meditation Group
Known as Gentle Earth Movement (GEM).
GEM is a conscious living group that explores the many benefits and styles of meditation; we also focus on living consciously in today's very hectic world. We explore our Earth and the effects we have on her and she on us, as an individual, a group and as a member of the wider community. This is done through our thoughts, our interactions with each other and our daily actions. As a group we also investigate what changes and/or improvements we can make to ensure we have a more harmonious time whilst we inhabit this Earth.
Distance Healing
Appointments can be performed using QXCI/SCIO Biofeedback Therapy. These are of benefit if time, distance or physical restrictions prevent someone from coming to our practice. Follow up will be done by phone after the session. Pets also respond well to distance healings.
