Reflexology is a treatment that most people find has a profoundly more relaxing effect than massage. Its results continue to amaze us. The premise is that by applying pressure to certain parts of the feet and hands, the corresponding organ in the body can be brought back into balance. It is so much more than just a foot massage. You don’t need to get undressed for the treatment, and it has the benefit of being able to be used when massage may not be appropriate. As with naturopathy, it too can be used to support any condition, as well as for ongoing health maintenance and stress reduction. And we’ve never had a problem with anyone who thinks they may be too ticklish.

Our home clinic is located at 23 Angel St, Newtown 2042. Finding us is easy. You can drive, catch a train, or a bus. We are just minutes from Newtown and Erskineville stations and bus routes 355, 370, 422, 423, 426 and 428. Parking is easy (and free) and we are about 10 minutes drive from the city.

Qualifications:
Both therapists are fully qualified in their fields and are members of ATMS. Martin is also a member of NHAA. They are therefore bound by a strict code of ethics which is is on display in the consultation room. They both demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional education, and often attend seminars and training courses in order to provide you with the most advanced treatment.
Both Martin and Michiko hold an Advanced Diploma of Naturopathy, Diploma of Nutrition, Diploma of Reflexology, and a Diploma of Remedial Massage.
Martin also holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy).
Michiko also holds a Diploma of Lymphatic Drainage and a Diploma of Aromatherapy.
Martin Stone
Martin graduated as a naturopath in 2001 and practices full-time. Having a strong interest in natural health since leaving school, he is delighted to have made it his career. Originally from the UK, Martin fell in love with Sydney the day he arrived in 1996, and successfully migrated in 2004. Motivated by a desire to heal and make the world a better place, he really does act with your best interests at heart.
Michiko Ishibashi
Michiko has been practicing as a massage therapist since 2002 and has a very loyal clientele. She qualified as a naturopath in 2004 and is looking forward to learning even more skills as a bodyworker, such as myofascial release and cranio-sacral therapy. Having escaped the corporate world of Tokyo to study in Sydney, you will find she shows a dedication, kindness and understanding rare in today’s world, as any of her clients can testify.
