About Us
Clare has been practicing Beauty Therapy & Massage for 10 years and was the 1st Lithos pracitioner on the North Shore. Clare is a qualified, knowledgeable & experienced therapist who has undertaken extensive training both nationally and internationally.
HEATED STONE MASSAGE
BE AWARE OF IMITATIONS!...
Lithos rock sculptures are the only authentic rocks unlike basalt and river rocks. Lithos rock sculptures have been hand crafted and individually quality tested for heat conductivity. The Black and White marble minimizes the potential of cross infection between clients.
The application of heated and chilled rocks stimulates your circulation, encouraging the flow of blood enriched with oxygen and nutrients which accelerates healing. Applying heated rocks to sore muscles eases tension, alleviates stiffness and increases flexibility, the chilled rocks have a cleansing effect stimulating the flow of oxygen nutrient rich blood to the area and decreasing inflammation.
Its Cleansing and Deeply relaxing. The gentle weight of each rock combined with massage helps to push toxins out of the muscles and into the lymphatic system to assist in eliminating metabolic waste. The strategic placement of either heated rocks on the neck, shoulders, back and arms, prepares the areas for a deeper massage.
ONE stroke with a lithos rock is equivalent to TEN strokes with the hand
The heated and chilled benefits of the rocks on the body acts immediately, even before the therapist incorporates a massage. The rocks combined with massage , in effect magnifies each massage stroke, because the muscle tissue has been 'loosened' by the rocks. The benefits go beyond the therapist alone!
