Frances was a nurse for 25 years before studying as a counsellor. She has been in private practice for many years and is an experienced wholistic practitioner. In her spare time she is an artist, painting and sculpting and gives private art lessons.

A counsellor may not come up with magical answers to your problem but will help you using various counselling techniques as appropriate to reach a satisfactory outcome or way of thinking so that you can make your own decisions and resolves. Effective counselling promotes self-empowerment and inner peace. With extensive experience, Frances prefers to treat people wholistically incorporating natural therapies where needed.

About Frances
Frances holds a Diploma of Professional Counselling, Diploma of Multi Addiction Counselling and a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis as well as having studied many varied areas of counselling and natural therapies over the last 20 years.
She conducts one-on-one face-to-face counselling as well as telephone counselling and group work. She is a clinical member of the Australian Counselling Association and is a registered supervisor for the ACA. She has recently joined the Federation of Psychotherapists & Counsellors Queensland and regularly participates with peers at meetings of the Queensland Counsellors Association.
