Background:
After a long professional career in the performing arts, Lorelei came to the Method due to the long term residual effects of injuries sustained during that career. Through the practical application of Pilates, Lorelei soon became pain free and stronger - instantly becoming a devotee. Now an accredited Practitioner by the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA), and with more than a decade of knowledge and experiece, Lorelei believes most musculo-skeletal conditions can be improved by the Pilates Method.
Studio:
This fully equipped studio offers individual and personalised tuition at an affordable price. Each client is treated as unique and therefore receives a program suited to specific needs. There are no mass classes, only small group sessions where each client is instructed in a combination of exercises on specifically designed Pilates equipment or on comfortable mats. Lorelei's instructors are also accredited through the APMA, having graduated from UTS and receiving a Graduate Certificate in the Pilates Method. This course is the first of its kind in the world. It is your guarantee of safe practice.
Massage:
Swedish Massage is a combination of light and gentle techniques to aid relaxation and suits most people and conditions.
Remedial massage is deeper and more specific. The pressure is sometimes stronger, with more focus placed on the area of resistance, using Deep Tissue and Trigger Point techniques to release this resistance and mobilise the joint or affected area. This massage penetrates deeper into the tissue, optimising results.
