Traditional Thai Massage
Deeply relaxing and effective in reducing stress, providing a feeling of wellbeing and relieving aches and pains, Traditional Thai Massage is an art form which combines yoga like stretching techniques. Thai massage can be performed as a dry massage (loose clothing supplied) or as a Thai-oil massage which combines deep tissue oil massage into the treatment.
Japanese Shiatsu & Sei-Tai Massage
Shiatsu is an old, traditional Japanese healing method. Your Japanese therapist will use pressure through the thumbs and fingers to work the body’s acupressure points whilst you relax on traditional tatami mats in the serenity of our Japanese garden themed room.
Seitai massage is exlusive to AHT and we aim to be the pioneers of this healing style in Australia through sponsoring Japanese professionals in our clinics. Experience a wonderfully balancing Japanese massage which combines Chiropractic and Shiatsu techniques to re-align postural imbalances and rebalance your body.
Swedish massage
This oil based massage is primarily designed to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. A great sports massage, Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain, it stretches the ligaments and tendons keeping them supple and pliable, as well as reducing stress levels, providing physical and emotional wellbeing.
Relaxation Massage
All of our staff are qualified to perform a deeply relaxing oil based relaxation massage. Combining this with their traditional techniques, each staff member has their own unique blend of styles to incorporate into the treatment.
Reflexology / Foot Massage
This ancient therapy uses a method of foot massage, applying pressure to reflex zones mapped out on the feet . Reflexology is based on the soles of the feet mirroring the rest of the body and by working these areas of the feet, the corresponding body parts can be therapeutically treated.
Remedial Massage
Our qualified remedial therapists will treat any specific muscular injuries that you may have and put you on a program of stretches and recovery work to prevent reoccurrence of the complaint. Our clinic is equiped with a HICAPS facility for upfront health fund rebates. Please advise in advance for a remedial treatment and which fund you are with.
Aromatherapy Massage
For an exquisitely relaxing and healing massage try one of our specifically designed aromatherapy massages. Choose from a Sports, Detox, De-stress or Relaxation blend of essential oil massage treatments.
