SERVICES Hemaview - Live Blood Analysis
Hemaview is a form of live blood analysis assisting in identifying the shape and ratios of red cells, white cells and platelets in your blood. By displaying your live blood on a monitor, we can show you how your blood structure is affected by poor diet and lifestyle choices. Hemaview can screen for a number of risk factors including: High fat diets, Poor nutrition, Smoking, Alcohol, Stress etc. As these factors improve, you may well experience the benifits of achieving vibrant health and wellbeing.
Vega Testing - Allergy Testing
We use a non evasive method of testing for food allergies and intolerances, using an electrodermal test that identifies your body's intolerated foods which create biochemical toxicities. We test for food and airborne allergies, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, heavy metal toxicity etc.
VLA - Vitality, Longevity & Healthy Aging
VLA is a system which tests and monitors your energy levels, toxicity, inflammation and response to treatment. We use a BIA Machine (Bio Impedence), which is an accurate tool in measuring body fat and muscle levels and also indicates your body's physiological age. The machine allows us to monitor your fat and muscle whilst losing or gaining weight. Also allowing us to tailor your dietary plans based on your protein, carbohydrate and fat requirements.
Nutrient and Toxic Element Testing
Minerals are essential for growth, healing, vitality and wellbeing. Ideally we should get all the minerals we need from a balanced diet. Unfortunately this is rarely possible in today's world. Environmental toxins, chemical food additives, depleted soils, and stressful lifestyles can have a ditrimental effect on your nutritional status. We use hair tissue analysis to test for over 35 nutrient and toxic minerals, and over 26 significant mineral ratios. Conditions affected by mineral imbalances can include everything from allergies, anxiety, depression, digestive problems, fatigue, headaches, infertility, insomnia, muscle cramps, osteoperosis and thyroid disorders.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a growing form of alternative and complimentary medicine that is completely natural and non-invasive. Traditionally it includes Chinese Herbs, Acupuncture, Cupping, Chinese Massage (Tui Na) and Gua Sha as well as Moxibustion and Ear Candling.
Herbs that are used in TCM are enriched with wonderful properties, qualities and flavours that are specific to the body’s organs and systems. Each individual is different, and for this reason herbs can be handpicked to form a unique formula for each person’s specific needs.
Chinese herbs are available from our TCM practitioner in an easy to use powder form.
Acupuncture is a gentle use of fine needles on specific points in the body designed to work on the meridian system (energy system) to free the flow of blood and Qi (Chi/energy) circulation and harmonise imbalances in the body.
Both Chinese Herbs and Acupuncture have fantastic results with:
Pain Management
Morning Sickness/Digestive Problems
Menstrual/Pregnancy Support
Fertility
Headaches/Migraines
Stress Management
Insomnia
Skin conditions
Obesity
Addictions
Chinese Medicine Services:
The above conditions are just the beginning of what acupuncture can be applied to.
Acupuncture has been used in China for 3,000 years on people of all ages, from young restless toddlers to aged people with joint pain. Today in Australia more and more people are looking for pain relief that is effective and compliments Western Medicine but is also free of side effects.
Moxibustion goes hand in hand with Acupuncutre. It is a roll of Chinese herbs that have warming and relaxing properties that are used in small bundles to warm the acupuncture needles. This stimulates and enhances the effect of the treatment in certain conditions, such as digestive problems, menstrual pain and muscular pain.
Cupping is a painless and non-invasive way to relax muscular tension and release toxins from the body. It involves the use of sterile circular glass cups to produce a vacuum on the surface of the skin and is usually applied to back, arm or leg muscles. Cupping feels like a warm gentle pulling in the affected areas that feel a lot less tense on the release of the cup.
Gua Sha has a similar intention. It is a smooth edged instrument (like the Chinese spoon) that is used to gently scrub the skin until warm. Gua Sha works on the outer layer of the skin to release the toxins deep within the muscles.
Tui Na or Chinese Massage, can be either dynamic or gentle depending on the individual requirements of the patient. Once again this type of massage works on the Meridian system of the body, where blood and Qi circulation are promoted and pressure is applied to acupuncture points to achieve specific results. It is a very relaxing yet invigorating form of massage.
Our TCM practitioner also offers Ear Candling, which is great for people with blocked ears, cold and flue and sinusitis sufferers. Ear candles gently draw the wax out of you ears while you relax, providing you with much clearer hearing.
