BreakFree Therapies is a unique, home visiting / mobile service for the cities of Wyndham, Hobsons Bay and surrounding suburbs. Home visiting means that you can benefit from the therapies of your choice in the comfort and security of your own home – an ideal service for the housebound or for those who really want to avoid the traffic or clinic waiting rooms.
BreakFree helps you to do just that – break free from poor physical health, stress and emotional problems or even just indulge yourself and relax. The following therapies are yours to choose from at very affordable rates:
Reflexology
A simple, safe therapy that is clinically proven to work, reflexology involves gentle pressure on specific areas of your feet, hands or ears, to activate your body's own healing response and resolve both physical problems and emotional conditions like depression, anxiety and stress. Because every treatment begins with a warm aromatherapy footbath, reflexology is also the perfect way to relax and unwind.
Relaxation/Swedish Massage/Deep Tissue Massage
Tailored to relieve sore muscles and relax the body, your massage can be combined with reiki and reflexology for a truly indulgent experience.
Reiki
Meaning “universal life energy”, this ancient and gentle therapy comes from Japan. You can lie back and drift away as you receive this magical and healing energy straight from the hands of the therapist. Reiki is renowned for refreshing the mind and providing you with insight into your problems. It is so relaxing that one hour of reiki = 3 hours of sleep.
Theta
A beautiful style of metaphysical healing which combines well with counselling and reflexology. Theta uses the theta brainwave to connect to a powerful universal energy and find the root cause of emotional and physical “dis-ease”. It works on a deep genetic and soul level; allowing you to break free from negative beliefs and ongoing emotional imbalances that lead to depression and anxiety, addiction, pain and illness. Theta knows no bounds!
Counselling
Melinda is an experienced counsellor providing you with both emotional and practical support; and utilising traditional and alternative interventions to help you through the difficult times in life. Melinda always encourages you to combine your counselling with flower essences, energy work or any other therapy of your choice. You will quickly develop a warm and trusting relationship with Melinda and this will definitely enhance the outcome of your therapy.

- Diploma of Reflexology (member of RAA)
- Bachelor of Social Work (eligible for entry into AASW)
