A Natural Self provides all the naturopathic testings, whether it be electrical kinesiology (Electro-Dermal Screening), allergy (Vega) testing, toxin testing within the gut (Indicans Test), nutritional deficiency testing, chemical testing, medicine tolerance and effectiveness testing, eye testing (Iridology) etc, and yet we have kept our prices relative to the clinics who lack this technology.

Electro-Dermal Screening
A Natural Self has one of the newest versions of an electrical kinesiology device; (Electro-Dermal Screening). When A Natural Self discovered the release of this latest technology, it purchased one from the U.S in october 2005, in order to keep up with the lastest devices available. There is only one of its kind in Australia at present (June 2007), and there are still only just a handful of practitioners in W.A so far, who have invested in this technology. A Natural Self is the current distributor for it’s entry into Australia.

HOW DOES IT WORK
This device sends a harmless micro-amp current through the body to measure the resistance of organs. It can also detect the frequency imbalances in the body, and locate its origin, providing you with viable and effective medicine that you know is specific to YOUR body imbalance. Two people with the same condition can have completely different origins to their illness, and totally different body imbalances that need to be worked on. Therefore, the protocol will be contrasting. It depends on the bodys own frequency imbalance.

Allergy Testing
The Vega Machine tests you for air borne, medical, chemical, and food antigen reactions (allergic reactions). This can tell you if you are suffering from an allergic response to an everyday contaminant, and if you have a gastro-intestinal disturbance. This disturbance causes an over reaction in the immune response to these substances. With this knowledge, we can instruct you, not only on proper diet for your particular allergic response, but also work on tidying up specific problems with the gastro-intestinal tract that continue to upset the immune system.
Toxin Testing (Gut Dysbiosis ‘Indican’ Test)
Through urine analysis, your urine can be tested for bacteria and proteins, to determine the health of your intestinal system. In part, the root cause of body imbalance, stems from the ineffectiveness of the digestive tract to filter out toxins.
With this facility, one can rule in or out, the influence of gut contaminants playing a role in your ill health. There is no more speculating on this possibility when we have accurate urine test results to visually confirm to you the state of your digestive health.
Mineral Deficiency Testing
You will be provided with an exact test result of any nutritional deficiencies that you may have, without the hefty price of sending away for a hair analysis test when this may not be your problem area. The results at our clinic are instant, and will only indicate a problem if it is sufficient enough. Therefore, the mineral, antioxidant, amino acid or vitamin supplements that you are on will have specific relevance to your body, and will reassure you that they are needed, are being absorbed, and are right for you.
Chemical Testing
As with mineral deficiency testing, the result of one’s chemical exposure is simple and quick. The contaminant will only show up if it is having an impact on the reasons for your ill health. Everyone has some storage of environmental toxins, but are they in concentration enough to warrant concern?

Eye Testing (Iridology)

Knowing what your predispositions for weakness and imbalance in the body are, can help you to understand what, in particular, you need to pay attention to and have for warning about your health.
Tongue Testing (Tongue Diagnosis)
These observations can give you an indication of gastro-intesinal health, heat and stagnated areas of the body, mineral 'cell salt' deficiencies, fluid imbalance, organ weakness and stress indications. It is also another confirmation for you , where the body is going wrong, and what steps you can take to knowing yourself.
Nail testing (Nail Diagnosis)
The nails can offer you the ability to see immediate deficiency signs and past traumas. With that, we can assess the nutient need for you to right your ill health. QUALIFICATION DETAILS
My name is Dana Kington. I gained my Naturopathic Diploma at The Perth Academy of Natural Therapies (P.A.N.T). Prior to this 4 year course, I completed a 1 year Diploma in Remedial Therapies (massage) there also.
P.A.N.T is located in Bentley, on John St, just off Albany Hwy, and has a long standing sister school in Queensland.
I am also a mother, and have reared my child using only natural medicine. Indi has been homeopathically vaccinated, has never taken antibiotics or any other allopathic medication to speak of. He is rarely sick due to this.
Below is a list of most recent studies. Prior to this, i was studying Psychology at Lancaster University, U.K, but never completed this study, when natural therapies coming into my life due to sickness.
I became very sick at the age of 18 after contracting a rare form of amoebic dysentery and Giardia when traveling in Pakistan. It was through this ill health that i found naturopathy and it's effectiveness in curring me, unlike any other specialist i could find.
