CONSULTATION
Initial Consultation
On your initial visit your therapist will spend time discussing with you the reason for your visit, the presenting problem, the cause and effect, the recommendations for massage treatment, and any follow-up required or refereal to alternative treatment such as physiotherapy, medical specialist, etc.
Subsequent Visits
On each subsequent visit, the therapist will discuss with you any changes or benefits experienced and discuss the next course of action.
Appointments are scheduled to allow for consultation time, while still having the benefit of a full treatment time.

REMEDIAL MASSAGE - When muscles and tendons become damaged and tense, or joints are immobile, Remedial Massage provides a healing treatment designed to explore the original cause and relieve the symptoms. This form of massage is suitable for problems arising from sports and activities, from the work environment, or from everyday life situations.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE - Deep Tissue massage is an advanced form of Remedial Massage where there is more focused work, deeper into the soft tissue, to treat the presenting problem.
SWEDISH MASSAGE - Swedish Massage is relaxing and invigorating designed to increase the blood flow, calm or invigorate the nervous system and release toxins from the muscles. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical.
SPORTS MASSAGE - Sports Massage is the manipulation of the body’s ligaments, tendons and muscles before, during and after a sporting event to help the individual achieve peak performance and optimum recovery. It is beneficial to both elite and everyday athletes.
AROMATHERAPY - Through massage, Aromatherapy applies essential oils (aromatic potions from leaves, flowers and herbs) customised to the needs of the individual, to revive, restore and to ‘heal’ the body.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE - This is a powerful, yet light and gentle treatment, which stimulates lymphatic flow, cleansing and detoxifying the system, assisting in reduction of excess fluids and strengthening the immune system.
REIKI - The art of Reiki channels Chi to heal and harmonise the body. By working on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, it balances the body’s chakras and aura, which may result in ill health or disease.
HAWAIIAN MASSAGE - Lomi Lomi & Ka Huna - In Hawaiian bodywork the practitioner uses their hands, forearms and elbows and moves around the table (using flowing hula and Tai Chi style movements) working with energy while applying soft and deep tissue massage.
PREGNANCY MASSAGE - Assuming there are no medical conditions, massage at any stage of pregnancy can be a huge benefit as the body goes through many physical and physiological changes resulting in aches and pains, fluid retention and lack of energy.
