Wei Wei has been practising in Melbourne since 1990 and successfully treats conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, hay fever, digestive problems, sports injuries and stress related conditions. She also specialises in the treatment of gynaecological disorders, specifically benefiting patients suffering from PMS, menopausal symptoms and infertility problems. Wei Wei's extensive clinical experience assures an optimal outcome for most conditions that have been challenged by more mainstream approaches.
How can Acupuncture help?
Many people come to acupuncture for help with a specific symptom or condition like:
- anxiety states
- arthritis
- asthma
- back pain
- circulatory problems
- depression
- facial paralysis
- fibrosis
- high infertility
- menstrual problems
- migraines
- sciatica
- skin conditions
- sinus problems
- fatigue
- ulcers
Acupuncture effectively helps these and many other conditions. However, good acupuncture does more than simply treat the problem. It is directed at restoring the overall balance and deals with the conditions and also helps the patient feel better in a general way. Hence the frequent comment “I’m feeling better in myself”, refers to things like increased energy and vitality, greater enjoyment of life, greater confidence, better sleep etc.
The Acupuncturist’s role may be likened to that of a musician tuning an instrument. Diagnosis determines the “tone” of the individual strings of the instrument; treatment involves tuning the strings to restore a coordinated sound, with all strings resonating harmoniously. This approach, where the whole person as well as the symptoms is taken into consideration, is integral to traditional Acupuncture. It is contrasted with symptomatic approach that uses treatment formulae for specific conditions and where no heed is paid to overall energy imbalance.
Wei Wei has been successfully treating conditions such as :
- Hay fever
- Migraine and headaches
- PMS
- Menopause symptoms
- Gynaecological disorders (e.g. Infertility, period problems)
- IVF support
- Sports injuries
- Back and neck muscles and joint pains
- Chronic fatigue syndromes
- Digestive disorders
- Assisting weight-loss
- Stress related conditions
- Insomnia
