Through years of practice Adrian has developed a system of healing which is an integration of Naturopathy, Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Adrian is a skilled communicator and is willing to 'meet' his clients at the centre of their issue. His sessions are imbibed with a clear and heartfelt sincerity that provides a space for true, deep healing to occur. Through this meeting many people experience a beneficial emotional and/or spiritual transformation.
What to expect in a standard consultation
Generally a session consists of a diagnosis using iridology, tongue and pulse diagnosis, in order to identify your 'underlying pattern of disharmony'. Adrian treats the symptoms on the top - i.e. the one you are coming to see him about. He will also then address the cause of the symptoms. This is where Traditional Chinese Medicine is very valuable because it goes further than Naturopathy as it has an understanding of 'pathogenesis' which allows the practitioner to determine why and how you came to be ill. Acupuncture and either, Chinese or Western Herbalism (and/or supplements and dietary advice) is then used to treat your underlying imbalance as well as your presenting symptoms.
The overall aim is to identify the root cause of your pathology and to remedy this. When this is successfully achieved all presenting symptoms are neutralised and the recipient experiences a great boost in energy and wellbeing. It is a truly wholistic approach and goes well beyond just using drugs to mask over symptoms.
Background
Adrian has been practising for 24 years, and has also been very active in the teaching and training of students of Naturopathy, Herbalism, Acupuncture, Shiatsu and Massage. Having worked in many teaching institutions in NSW, QLD and WA. Including the Southern Cross University, Lismore; NSW College of Natural Therapies; Kingscliff TAFE and Southport TAFE; and the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies.
