Centrally heated, candle-lit rooms ,the delicious aroma of the essential oils as you enter the waiting room all to provide you with a delightful experience.
Our highly skilled therapists will help you to relax, revive and rejuvenate yourself. For your first visit, we recommend that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows enough time to complete the necessary paperwork. All our therapists are registered with health funds. Please check with your Private Health cover provider for full coverage details
Who will be looking after you at Essential?
All of our therapists have many years of experience in Remedial,Therapeutic and relaxation, they are all qualified to do spa treatments.
Most people undress to their under-garments. During your body treatments you will be warmly draped with a large towel at all times. Only the area of the body being worked on is exposed.
We request that you disclose any medical condition and or prescription medication you are taking as some services may be contra-indicated.
We also offer gift certificates for men and women. Please consult your therapist for advice on suitable packages.

Your skin is cleansed and exfoliated with our ASAP glycolic based product range; as we flood you with a stream of warm steam. Now all you have to do is lie back and enjoy the soothing gel mask, which will calm and hydrate your skin while the therapist performs a pressure point scalp massage.

ASAP Revitalising Facial
A one hour facial complete with an exfoliation peel treatmentis a revitalising skin care treatment.
Your face and neck is cleansed and exfoliated under a stream of warm steam. An AHA/BHA exfoliating mask is now applied and left to dry while the therapist performs a pressure point massage. A warm towel is then compressed over the skin to remove all traces of the remaining mask.
Enjoy the calming eye massage, which is followed by an infusion of our Vitamin C hydrating lotion via a blissful facial massage. Champagne
Suitable for paler skins for a lighter, more natural looking tan. It imparts a healthy, radiant looking glow that only Champagne can give! For a gorgeous, golden glow, this curative colour is particularly suitable for Blondes or Strawberry Blondes.
Development time:
Develops progressive colour within the first hour and continues, until it reaches full development and hue saturation in 5-6 hours. Step out in ….Glammatan!
Shiraz
suitable for pale or freckled skin. Applied to skin that is olive based, Shiraz has a beautiful duality in the depth of colours that it gives. Giving off a more auburn glow it is particularly suited to Redheads. It also gives fantastic colour to an already tanned or olive skin.
Development time: Shiraz is a curative colour and develops substantial colour in the first hour after application. It has faster and darker initial development than Champagne, but will continue to develop until it reaches full saturation and colour in approx. 5-6 hours.
Sarsparilla
Great for olive skins or skin that has an existing colour. Provides a deeper, darker more natural tan. Containing cosmetic bronzer, it imparts an instant, rich and chocolate tan that is long lasting.
Development time:
It is an instant colour so “what you see, is what you get” – it will not develop any further. Being an instant colour containing cosmetic bronzer, initially it will wash off more than developing colours. You will still have a deep, luscious colour.
The colours are all complimentary to one another to achieve different depths of colour in the tanning process. All of our products are designed so they can be mixed if so desired. The mixture of an instant colour and a developing colour has the added benefit after initial loss of bronzers with an instant tan; the colour will continue to cure with the developing solution. Of course, it is always a personal choice.
