Rebecca Sammartino has studied in detail a wide variety of Natural Healing modalities since discovering her calling at the age of 20. Kinesiology at Quantum Energetics

Kinesiology is a non-invasive method of using muscle feedback to find out what is happening in the body. Clinical Kinesiology focuses on healing mind, body and spirit from a more traditional medical approach.

Using many physically based remedies such as diet supplementation, acupressure and body re-education techniques developed by western medical doctors, it also draws on the healing techniques and wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine), Aboukra (ancient Egyptian medicine) and Reiki (Japanese Hands on Healing).

The Philosophy of Kinesiology
The body has innate healing energy and is at all times doing its best to care for itself, but sometimes it needs to be helped into a better position to achieve this care. Kinesiology also recognises that there are flows of energy within the body that relate not only to the muscles but to every tissue and organ that go to make the body a living, feeling being.

How Kinesiology Works
Energy flows can be evaluated by testing the function of the muscles, which in turn reflect the body’s overall state of structural, chemical, or emotional balance. In this way Kinesiology taps into energies that the more conventional modalities overlook. Kinesiology looks beyond symptoms.

How Kinesiology is Different
If you are experiencing muscle or postural pain, you usually have a knotted-up muscle on one side of your body, and on the other side an overstretched muscle. Instead of trying to relax the knotted muscle like other healing professions, kinesiology works on the weakened muscle. The knotted muscle is usually caused by a stress in the weak muscle. Kinesiologists work with the weak muscle to re-strengthen it, effectively removing the knot from the other muscle. Kinesiologists call this "muscle balancing".
What can Kinesiology do?
Kinesiology is not limited to dealing with ailments. Energy balancing brings a person closer to achieving any goal of their choice, including sport, business, personal relationships, learning or coping with life generally.
This energy balancing is the heart of Kinesiology and deals with any stress factors including: identifying a nutritional lack or excess, clearing a negative emotional component, relieving pain, stimulating the integration of muscle groups, or improving mental and physical coordination.

What happens in a session
Each session is individually tailored depending on what you would like to work on. Sessions involve a Kinesiology Energy Balance to find the very cause of the issue and then find the priority way to restore the balance of energy promoting self healing.

What to expect
A kinesiology session works with the client lying face up on a massage fully clothed. A muscle in the client’s forearm will be gently manipulated to receive biofeedback (information). Other arm or leg muscles may be used to indicate different energies.

What changes you’ll notice after the session
Because there are usually many levels to an issue and each person’s experiences are so different, results will vary. Many people feel more relaxed and calm, and have less physical pain after a session. It can take a couple of days to a few weeks for the body to fully process the changes that happen in the session, and many goals or issues may require more than one session to achieve. While many people experience success after their first session, it is advisable to give your body 3 sessions to adjust to the techniques and implement the changes.
