MASSAGE TREATMENT MENU

Swedish - The original relaxation massage, swedish massage routines are a combination smooth flowing strokes and gentle relaxing techniques given with oil and designed to de-stress the body and provide a deep sense of overall wellbeing..

Remedial - Specific advanced techniques which have been developed by massage therapists, physiotherapists and osteopaths to release soft tissue restrictions. Techniques include Deep Tissue, Trigger Point therapy, Mobilisations, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Cyriax Friction, and among other treatment techniques, advanced stretching.

Panabaa Release - The difference between this technique and other spinal corrective techniques is how effective it is in the long term. This technique picks up the restriction between vertebrae that are incorrectly aligned. This allows the whole spine to be treated to bring about the body's neutral position, which such postural improvements the spine becomes more flexible and can strengthen, decreasing the incidence of reoccurrence. The tissues and joints are moved with such gentleness that this technique does not pose any problems for people with such conditions as Osteoperosis etc.. There are special techniques to treat varying types of conditions..

Shiatsu - Shiatsu is a traditional hands on Japanese healing art used to treat a wide range of conditions, such as stress and specific injury. Shiatsu uses pressure point massage based on the principles of Meridians and Qi, as used in acupunture but without the use of needles. Shiatsu translated is "Finger pressure"pressure is applied to specific points on the body, this is combined with stretches and joint rotations. This in return helps balance the energy flow throughout the body.

Reflexology - Reflexology works with the feet, whenever certain points of the feet are sore, it indicates that a corresponding organ in the body is out of balance. Pressure and massage is applied to the reflex points, this helps improve circulation and eliminates toxins.

Lymphatic Drainage- Lymph drainage massage is a light manual technique designed to stimulate the circulation of the lymph fluid. It works with slow, rhythmical pumping movements in the direction of lymph flow. It decongests the lymph nodes.

Hot Stone Massage - Through out history healers have used hot stones in their healing process. Relieves muscle tension, detoxifying, a boost to the immune & lymphatic systems. Leaves you feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated. Oil to the stones allows a graceful flowing movement while warming the muscle.

Sports Massage Services - First Aid services and on-site sports massage pre and post-event can be provided for most sporting events including tournaments and carnivals.

Deep Tissue Massage is the type of massage that is beneficial to those who "know" they just need someone to really get in there and break up the restrictions. This style of massage is not for the everyone and often clients may feel tender for a few days although most deep tissue recipients report they feel freer and looser afterwards.
