Hopewood's natural health philosophy advocates a diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables, regular gentle exercise, plenty of fresh air, pure water and rest. It's a simple philosophy that has enjoyed remarkable success. For 45 years guests have visited Hopewood Health Retreat for a variety of purposes: to rest, detox, manage their weight, destress, and returned home feeling refreshed and revitalised. Guests can experience the body's remarkable ability to regenerate from the inside, given the right environment.
The wide variety of health and holiday programs available at Hopewood Health Retreat are designed to provide guests with a genuine opportunity to improve their lifestyle, not just for the time they are at Hopewood, but for the long term. Hopewood aims to help people make sustainable changes.
Our fantastic kitchen staff provide gourmet vegetarian smorgasboards, with a wealth of fresh fruit and vegetables. Fresh fruit is also available in abundance during the day and Hopewood filters its own water. Spaces available for rest and relaxation include comfortable lounges, our "Silent Garden" and peaceful quiet areas. Our whole atmosphere is modelled on "old fashioned comfort".
Hopewood's naturopaths and osteopath have a combined experience in natural health of over 50 years. Guests on our "Optimal Health and Wellbeing" package receive a personal consultation with a qualified naturopath to identify specific health issues and prescribe an individual nutritional program. Our naturopaths then provide ongoing guidance, care and support making this package the perfect program for guests with health concerns, allergies or special dietary requirements. There is a wide range of inclusions in this package.
Our hydrotherapy treatments are based on European principles and complement our natural health philosophy. Individual consultations are available with our osteopath, naturopaths and also for hydrotherapy, inhalataion and vibrosaun treatments.
Guests are encouraged to gather all the tips and tools they need to continue on a healthy path when they return home.
