"I was ‘diagnosed’ with severe depression from my local doctor after an attempt on my life.
For years I always took to heart what people thought of me, said about me, I had been to court a couple of times – through drinking and doing ‘silly’ things, abusive relationships, deaths of friends and family,

We created them so why not learn to live comfortably and safely with them and avoid distress?
Footnote: We are having some success treating cases of "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder" and "Pervasive Refusal Syndrome".
If either of these conditions interest you, just get in touch.
No one can prove that preventing distress prevents psychosomatic disorders, because there is no money for such trials and studies; but preventing the effects of distress does seem to keep people heathlier. And that's the important thing!
