This is my philosophy and these are only some of the benefits of engaging in and sticking to a fitness routine that blends with your lifestyle to achieve results. It’s a determined, disciplined and committed effort to improve yourself in every way. With Active Pulse PT, my goal is to guide you to achieving your goals through fun, motivating and challenging sessions.

My training methods involve teaching functional resistance training which is performing exercises that mimic bio-mechanical movements we apply to everyday life; improving your cardiovascular fitness with running, skipping, boxing, circuits and timed intervals; improving your muscular endurance with repetitions; teaching you how to train your core muscles to improve joint stability, balance and posture and finally improving your flexibility to achieve maximum range and optimal technique.

We look at your nutritional habits and suggest meal plans, recipes and tips on how to improve or change your eating habits and we assess your posture to identify your individual needs for corrective exercises.

Whether you choose to train solo, with a friend or in a group, every session is challenging and different. Success is determined by your commitment with my guidance.

About Me
I've been in the fitness industry for 10 years and I have a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. I'm also certificate qualified in Children's Fitness & Nutrition, Exercise Rehabilitation, Pilates, and general strength and conditioning. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to create their best self despite daily pressures of life through consistent support and encouragement. I am Cert IV qualified, registered with Fitness Australia and hold a current Senior 1st aid certificate. Training sessions indoors and outdoors are covered by Public Liability/Professional Indemnity Insurance with Marsh Pty Ltd.

Training Locations:
  • Anderson Park, Anderson Rd, Hawthorn East (meet on Henham or Constance St)
  • Fritsch-Holzer Park, Symonds St, Hawthorn East
  • Oasis Fitness Centre, 27 Hall St Hawthorn East (usually during Winter and wet weather)


Qualifications

10 years industry experience as a trainer and instructor. VicFit Certification as a Professional Fitness Instructor (Cert III) and Professional Advanced Trainer (Cert IV). Children’s and Young Adolescents Trainer. Pilates Floor Exercises, Swissball & Advanced Pilates Floor Exercises. Exercise Rehabilitation. Kick Boxing/Boxing Techniques for Trainers. Children’s Fitness & Nutrition. Senior First Aid. Bachelor of Science Biological Sciences.
