We all know that balancing our weight is an issue of energy in and energy out. That is, if you burn more calories than you but in your body, you lose weight. Sadly, it is not as simple a task to control as that. The reasons we put on weight are many and varied. For some people it is eating too much, for some eating the wrong types of food, for some it is lack of exercise, for some people it is eating at the wrong times.
We have all tried dieting in some form or another. Few of us have kept the weight off that we lose through dieting. Research has confirmed this.

95% of dieters put their weight back on over a few years, many will put on more.*1

The fact remains that if you want to lose weight and maintain that weight loss over the long term, dieting is not the answer. Let's face it, if you do the work to lose the weight, you want to keep it off and stay healthy.

The last thing you want to do is put it all back on again and end up at square one. Unfortunately, the diet industry has been fudging their message to us for decades.
