Anton Sostaric

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Anton has been practising musculoskeletal treatments since 1994. Anton’s most successful outcomes are for management of spinal pain and overuse injuries. 90% of clients with these problems experience relief of pain in the first session and continue to improve with each session. Most spinal problems improve by 80% within 4-6 sessions.

Anton uses safe and effective manual techniques to mobilise and relieve joint and muscle stiffness and address biomechanical anomalies.

Much of the success of your treatment is a result of the exercise programs Anton teaches you to practice at home. Anton is a no nonsense practitioner. If you are motivated and want the most reliable and relevant treatment for your problem then Anton is the practitioner for you.

Alison Churchill

Psychologist

Consulting on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Alison Churchill is an experienced registered Psychologist and Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society, and is registered to provide psychological services under the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative and ATAPS. She has worked with many individuals and couples - from young adults to those later in life - helping them to understand and change their lives.

Alison successfully works with people experiencing difficulties in their relationships, suffering from depression and/or anxiety, struggling to deal with a crisis or trauma, or experiencing grief and loss. She also helps people who may be dealing with issues around sexual orientation, difficulties faced by young families, and concerns around ageing. Other individuals may simply wish to explore possibilities for personal growth.

Alison provides brief and longer-term psychotherapy. For those looking for a brief intervention, she helps clients to identify and harness their own inner resources in addressing their presenting symptoms. In her short-term work she utilizes her psychodynamic experience and understanding of the difficulties people face in their lives and combines this with relevant aspects of other modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy, to help clients effect change.

In her longer-term work her primary orientation is in psychodynamic psychotherapy, where the focus is on looking for the root causes of the issues her clients are facing. Current problems are explored and understood in the context of the client’s personal history. Some clients may already be aware of issues that could be impacting on their lives, such as childhood abuse or neglect, whereas others may be confused when feelings such as depression and anxiety arise without any clear precipitating factors.

Alison sees psychotherapy as a journey through which clients are helped to make sense of their lives and thereby find the freedom to engage in a meaningful and creative life.
