Allymac Lymphatic Drainage
Focus areas
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (also referred to as MLD) is THE most gentle technique employed for any massage treatment. It is indeed so incredibly gentle that it would not hurt a baby.
The purpose of the treatment is to encourage the lymphatic system to move more freely and allows the lymph fluid to flow through the body. MLD assist with the removal of blockages in the lymph nodes which are found throughout the body – in the armpits, around the neck, along the stomach, chest, top of the thighs, etc.
Along with all massage therapies, MLD provides the greatest benefits when it is administered over a continual period of time. Relaxation massage, Remedial massage and MLD help the body’s functions best when utilised in quick succession over a minimum period of 6 weeks.
