Explore mental health and emotional issues through a sensitive combination of Eastern and Western approaches: "talking therapy", reframing/refocusing, journalling, Yogic and Ayurvedic principles, guided meditation and breathwork, and energy healing practices in a unique holistic approach to mental and emotional wellbeing.
In this approach, these practices are combined with an understanding of individual circumstances, needs and preferences, providing a truly holistic complement to mainstream counselling and psychological support.
These sessions may be enhanced by use of essential oils and aromatics. Thoughtfully designed EO kits are available to purchase for ongoing self-care. Alternatively, intentional use of aromatics readily available in your own environment, such as aromatic herbal teas, flower waters such as Rose Water, fresh flowers or incense may be used.
Bhakti is an experienced mental health professional, with over a decade working in mental health services, as a support worker and mental health coach, and crisis line counsellor. A long time student and practitioner of yoga and meditation, for over 20 years she has successfully applied principles drawn from yogic and ayurvedic philosophy and practice to support mental and emotional health and seen firsthand the benefits and transformation possible in herself and others.
Our mental and emotional health needs are extremely important; additional support from GP, counsellor or psychologist is highly encouraged. Where trauma and crisis are present some supportive measures can be found in this approach, however for a number of complex reasons, the support of a clinical psychologist is also indicated.
