What Do We Offer?

Balmain Osteopaths is a family-oriented clinic situated on the Balmain Rozelle peninsula in the inner west of Sydney, NSW.

The clinic was established in 1998 and has been a part of the community for over 20 years. Over the years, we’ve seen multiple generations of the same family, which is deeply gratifying knowing that we are able to support families and serve the broader community.

We value communication, care and offering services that contribute to the wellbeing of our patients, staff and practitioners.

We have three osteopaths, all of whom are registered with AHPRA and have completed ongoing professional development. Between them they have a broad range of clinical experience which enables the clinic to cater to a wide range of people, conditions and treatment methods.

Meet Our Osteopaths

Kristine Lunny

Kristine graduated from Melbourne's RMIT University with a double degree in Osteopathy and Clinical Science. She’s a professional therapist who applies a wide range of treatment techniques that vary according to the individual, the condition and the age group. Her patients range from infants to seniors, each presenting a unique opportunity for assessment and treatment.

She has dedicated herself to the study and practice of the Biodynamic Cranial approach for many years. This discipline aims to treat the whole body and its ability to self-correct when given balanced conditions.

Jessica Hartup

Jessica graduated from Melbourne's RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Complementary Medicine and a Masters in Osteopathy. Jessica began her career in Canberra and then went on to work internationally, first in Dublin, Ireland followed by Manhattan Beach, California until happily returning home to Australia.

Jessica has undertaken extensive post graduate study across the globe, having the privilege of learning from highly skilled and dedicated Osteopaths, particularly in the field of Cranial Osteopathy, which uses sensitive touch to identify restricted motion and utilises the body's natural ability to unwind tension.

Ellen Scott

Ellen has a genuine interest in helping people. She has a keen interest in the connection and interaction between the stress we experience and the tension that is stored in the body, and its relationship to chronic pain.

Her background in yoga, meditation and natural therapies has contributed to her approach toward achieving balance and harmony in the body.

Rosie Hamilton

Rosie is a friendly and warm practitioner whom people seek for a myriad of issues, ranging from back and neck pain, to shoulder, knee and ankle conditions, or to simply alleviate stress, tension, or improve their posture.

She applies multiple healing methods, including osteopathic techniques, trigger point dry needling, P-DTR therapy, and low level laser therapy.
