What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy looks to assess, diagnose, treat and work on the prevention of a diverse range of health conditions and movement disorders. Physiotherapy helps to repair damage, reduce pain and stiffness, enhance mobility and enhance quality of life.

Physiotherapy goes further than health promotion to injury prevention, rehabilitation, acute care, chronic disease management, maintenance of functional mobility, carer and client education and occupational health.

Back Pain, Upper Limb Pain, Lower Limb Pain

Musculoskeletal pain is amongst some of the most common reasons clients come and see a physiotherapist. Our highly skilled physiotherapists are sensitive to your pain, get to the underlying cause of the problem, treat and then support you through your recovery. Wherever the pain is in your body, all of our physiotherapists have an in-depth arsenal of skills and tools they can call on to help you.

Your treatment may include one or more of the following:

  • Manual therapy

  • Muscle energy techniques

  • Electro-therapy

  • Stretching

  • Acupuncture

  • Soft tissue massage

  • Exercise

  • Strapping

  • Manipulation
