What is NLP…... how can it help to make changes…?

If you always do, what you’ve always done……….

If you are looking to make significant changes in your life… then it’s time to look at doing behaviours differently..

Here’s the formula..

Thoughts (1) lead to taking Action (2)
Taking an Action leads to creating a Habit (3)
Having a Habit leads to forming a Character (4)
Being a particular Character creates our Destiny…(5)


If you want to know where your life is heading… you only require to look at what type of Character you have become.. to know where your destiny lies…

This can save you your hard earned money that you might otherwise spend on seeking a clairvoyant to give you all the answers you already have inside…

Making lasting changes to improve the quality of our lives… does not start with deciding Monday I’ll go on that diet… go to the gym… update my CV… join that public speaking course…. By taking ACTION only… and sidestepping the first step.. Thought… before too long you may find yourself losing interest in the Action step you decided to take…

However… if you take time to think.. and clarify your THOUGHTS… about what it is you are thinking about that you wish to change… and start by CHANGING YOUR THINKING… which then leads to taking more motivated ACTION… your new changes will become habit and character forming… thus changing your DESTINY….

It’s all very well starting a new behaviour (ACTION)… without really taking heart as to what it is you are saying/thinking to yourself. When you take that time to think and clarify your thoughts and become clear on your VALUES… what is important to you… and begin by changing your thoughts… your action towards your new behaviour is inevitable… as we become propelled forward with a new sense of what is important to us by defining our values…

What is ….NLP?

It has been variously described as the technology of the mind, the science of achievement, and the study of success. It is based upon the search for and the study of the factors which account for either success or failure in human performance.

NLP is a bit like the software for the brain, the operating system..

At school we downloaded wonderful programs like history and geography and algebra however, a lot of us did not learn much about how to feel good, how to navigate in the big wide world and to have great relationships.

This is where NLP comes in.

NLP is a set of insights and skills...

...with which you can actively use your mind and your emotions and your body to run your own life more successfully and communicate with others with 'extra-ordinary' effectiveness.

NLP is an ever-growing body of information and insights, backed up by a huge range of easy to learn mental techniques which will enable you to improve how you think, behave and feel.

My philosophy is based in the belief that all behaviors are motivated by unconscious impulses, namely neurological triggers. These triggers, whether negative or positive are based upon certain beliefs that we act upon when triggered by specific situations.

NLP helps to identify these triggers which cause us to think or react in a particular way. When we understand what the triggers are, we can utilize them to transform and resolve negative thought patterns and beliefs. Thus allowing us to transform our old habitual thinking patterns, anxieties, fears or destructive behaviours, into positive belief systems and lead more enriching lives.

The processes I use are fast, efficient, enlightening and non-invasive. Time permitting I like to infuse the learning’s from the NLP session, with hypnotherapy to deepen the changes….and provide clients with a natural sense self-empowerment and ability to be more fully present and aware of those thought patterns which form our characters and ultimately our destinies.



How Many Sessions:

Results are relative to each client, therefore it is difficult to say as each person responds differently.

After the first session we will be in a better position to determine how many sessions might be required, at best two to three sessions are recommended.

For example one client may have the breakthrough they are seeking in only one session. Another client may require two, three or more sessions. Some clients prefer to receive my assistance on an ongoing basis, so it is possible to spread them out over a period of time to allow integration as old patterns are replaced by new resourceful patterns.

With the use of Hypnotherapy and NLP and tested processes; changes are to be expected. It is my intention NOT to engage clients into a number of lengthy ongoing drawn out sessions which in my personal opinion are not healthy, neither for the client nor the practitioner.

Duration and Session Types

Typical sessions are 1.5 hours in duration.

Breakthrough Sessions.

Breakthrough sessions are for clients wishing to make profound shifts and learning’s in a short period of time. It is also of great benefit for small groups, up to three or four persons together, encouraging each other and holding each other accountable for change.

The typical duration of breakthrough sessions is approximately 5 hours. Discounts apply.

Residential options are available in Melbourne at the Belgrave clinic, in a private on-site self contained apartment.

These sessions are popular with two up to four friends wishing to support each other for issues such as, though not limited to, weight loss, stop smoking or stress reduction, goal setting, life back on track weekends.

Skype Sessions:

Skype Sessions are available at a reduced rate.

Skype sessions have proven to be of great value to clients who are perhaps house bound, or time poor, who wish to make effective use of their time without the constraints of having to travel in traffic.

FEAR OF FLYING / LIFESTYLE CHANGE

thought i would send you a quick update as to my progress so far. the flight i got on a few days after our session was absolutely fine. usually a day or two before the flight ill start thinking about the flight and getting nervous but even when i was at the airport about to get on the plane the thought of flying still hadent entered my head. usually before take off i would try and go to sleep but this flight i got on and started watching t.v. during take off i was actually looking out the window rather than straight ahead. the flight itself was quite rough but not once did a negative thought enter my head. basiclly the flight was a non event for me i didnt really have any fellings / emotions to it one way or the other. this has never happened before! apart from the flying i've come away from the session with nothing but positivity. things that were getting me down or pissing me off before hand i just let go now. i've made a few apologies to people about my actions of late and i've had comments on my positive change. all in all im feeling a lot better about myself and its almost as if im untouchable at the moment and nothing can get me down! i've tried explaining the session to a few people but its really hard to put into words what happened and i suppose the metamorphisis that has taken place with me. im implementing things you recommended such as a journal and i wrote down some goals the other day aswell. if you would like to use any of my comments for advertising please go ahead as i really cant thank you enough for this new insight for not just flying but life itself!

FEAR OF HEIGHTS

I think of you often...... you changed my life! God Bless you. I am now living on the 25th Floor in an apartment on the Gold Coast. I hop in and out of the lift just like I am cleaning my teeth! Just wanted to let you know that I am feeling really good and have been since our session.

I have been eating healthily and had no binge/purge episodes at all and I am listening to your CD every night.

Like I said I had hypnotherapy before and it was good, but I really think that the combination of NLP with hypnotherapy works a lot better for me.

Of course it also helps that you are very knowledgeable and professional and that I feel I am in good hands.

I felt that your approach to my problem was very personal and specific and I think that this is definitely one of the reasons it worked so well for me.
