Bowen is a dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy that
utilises small but measured inputs to the body stimulating the body to heal
itself.
Bowen delivers signals to nervous system (on muscles, tendons, ligaments or nerves) and the body does the rest.
The moves are gentle but purposeful; most moves overlap acupuncture points and some acculaly cross two or three acupuncture meridians at once. Some procedure activate drainage of the lymphatic system, stimulating the immune system. Detoxification is often initiated during a Bowen session, thereby improving the body's abilitiy to function at the cellullar level.
