About Me

I combine my knowledge and sensitivity in a wholesome and nourishing therapeutic massage treatment. My intention is to create a safe environment for people be able to relax and open their mind and body.

I believe in massage as an ancient healing form. Touch is the very first sense we feel and sense as we are born. Massage has this extraordinary way to heal the physical body, calm the mind and transcend spiritually into other dimensions.

I have great respect for the healing aspects of massage. Therefore I intend to create a grounding energy so the person goes back to the world in their body, with their feet strongly on the ground and feeling connected.

I completed the Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at The Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy (MIMT) in 2010.

In 2012 I studied Zen Shiatsu at the Australian Shiatsu school and fell in love with Chinese medicine. Studying Shiatsu was a wonderful experience and I incorporate Eastern principles and philosophies into my treatments. However, by learning Shiatsu I felt it was a confirmation of how much I'm drawn to massage.

I have a strong connection and passion with pregnancy and birth.

In 2012 I became a Certified Infant Massage Instructor through the IMIS at The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne.

The same year, I have undertook courses in Pre and Post natal care and High-risk pregnancy with Suzanne Yates who comes to Australia from the UK every couple of years especially to teach these courses. In 2014 I did the "Advanced Massage for Pregnancy" with Suzanne Yates too.

My ongoing passion and deep connection to birth lead me to do the Doula course (or Birth Attendant ) with the wonderful and birth advocate Rhea Dempsey in 2015. Supporting women to birth respectfully and feel empowered is a strong call that I have been carrying for many years. I became a mother myself while I was doing this course so my Doula path is unfolding gently and slowly as I am learning the challenges of creating a balance between work and mothering.

In November 2016, I did a Master Class in Traditional East-West Cupping with Bruce Bentley which I really enjoyed and it broadened my knowledge of this very old healing art.
