Bachelor and Master of TCM， after receiving seven years’training in both western medicine and
traditional Chinese medicine.Hepracticed at ShuGuangteaching hospital affiliated to the University afterwards. He was involved in a clinic project using Chinese medicine to relieve symptoms of Diabetes, and published an article about effectof Chinese Medical Herbs on patients with Type 2 Diabetes.
Richard is a clinic dietitian as well. He completedMaster of Nutrition and Dietetics at Wollongong University, NSW. He once practiced at Goldfield-Esperance GP network specializing indiet management on obesity and diabetes. As a co-author, he made contribution to a research published in journal of APPETITE 67(2013): Observations of mealtimes in hospital aged care rehabilitation wards.
Richard is currently running clinics atCannington, Innaloo, and Claremont. The services includeacupuncture, Chinese medicine consultation and dietetics consultation.In 2010, he run a pilot study with University of Western Australia on Effectiveness of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs on Patients with Depression, which was published on Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice (2012).
